Poppy's combined bloodlines include a number of Champions and sires of internationally acclaimed sports ponies. She is a true athlete with the kindest of temperaments. This lovely pony has been retained by the stud and was graded into the SPSS Main Studbook in 2006.  Poppy is expecting a 2008 foal by Top Yellow (see pictures below).

Poppy's Sire, Pilgrim's Red stood as overall Champion Pony Stallion at Rastede, Germany in 1999 qualifying for the Bundeschampionat where he became the 1999 German National Champion 3 yr old Pony Stallion. Poppy is believed to be the only Pilgrim's Red offspring outside Germany where his foals are attracting much interest.

Poppy's Dam Bernwode Dorina was Reserve Champion Pony Mare for Oldenburg. She is closely related to many successful competition ponies and has produced four exceptional foals. Her eldest son was selected for the Elite Auction in Germany and is now standing at stud in Ireland.
