Calida has an outstanding, natural jumping ability as her breeding would suggest. This ability is matched by her huge uphill movement displayed in all three paces. Calida has been on loan as a broodmare and has now been bought by her loaner.  Calida has already produced several quality foals.

Calida's sire, Calido I, scored an unbelievable 10 for his jumping ability at his Holstein stallion licensing. In 1996 he won 22 showjumping competitions and was a successful participant at the Federal Championship of the German Showjumping Horse. He has sired several licensed stallions and graded mares and is becoming known for the excellent movement displayed by his offspring.

Calida's Dam, Grannus Girl, is a State Premium Mare by the black Holstein stallion, Grannus. Grannus was one of the paramount sires of international showjumping and many countries throughout the world have included progeny of this great stallion in their national teams.
