Dimitri is an exceptionally talented pony with an exciting future ahead of him.  He has a wonderfully trainable, kind temperament and three huge uphill paces.  Dimitri won a three year old potential dressage pony class in Germany and was then imported to England where he continued his education with Louise Crutcher.  More recently, Dimtri has been ridden by another pony rider, Gemma Abram, who despite having only ridden him for a few days, took him out at Elementary level and won his class gaining over 67%.  The stud intends to retain this lovely pony and will select a pony rider to compete him at FEI level at a later date. 

Dimitri is by the highly successful sports pony sire Durello who consistently passes his athletic ability and delightful temperament to his children. Dimitri’s dam, Dancing Queen, is a State Premium mare by the Bundeschampion and European Team Dressage sire for Germany and Great Britain, Golden Dancer.  This line, from the famous Dancer (known as Broomford Dancer in Great Britain) has produced countless champions and medal winners. Dancing Queen also carries the lines of the Champion sire Black Boy making her pedigree one of the most valuable in German pony breeding.
