This strong, athletic filly is by the Danish Oldenburg Pony stallion, Laban out of our outstanding German mare, Bernwode Dorina. La boheme carries the lines of successful European FEI ponies on both sides of her pedigree making her a valuable competition prospect or future breeding mare. This filly was sold at birth to Rosewater stud and, having graded into the SPSS studbook in 2007, is expecting a foal in 2008 by Bernwode Brokat.

 

Laban was imported to Great Britain as a yearling and excelled at his Sports Pony Studbook Society (SPSS) grading, showing an outstanding jumping ability, excellent paces and good ridability. He was awarded ‘Elite’ status as the sire of the successful event pony, Red Alert, who won a silver medal for Great Britain at Le Touquet as a member of our European Pony Eventing Team. Laban’s progeny also include a number of JA ponies and event horses which he has sired whilst competing himself in both dressage and jumping.

This lovely elegant filly is by the imported German pony stallion Nibelungenheld IV who is a member of one of Germany’s most successful families. His dam, Nibelungenlied is an Elite State Premium mare and several times Bundeschampion .She has produced four sons all of whom are licensed stallions having excelled at their grading, and six daughters who have all been awarded Elite State Premium status at grading.

 

Nibelungenheld’s sire, Nobel is a multi Champion having won the Westfalen licensing in 1981 and being represented by no less than 10 children at the 1998 and 1999 Bundeschampionat. One of Nibelungenheld’s full brothers was three times National Champion and jumped as a member of the German European Team whilst another was the Bundeschampion at five years old and is also sire of the Bundeschampion Nobelprinz II.
