Bugatti's sire, Bernwode Brokat, boasts an outstanding temperament, good conformation and excellent jumping ability which, combined with his wonderful paces and proven pedigree ensures a 'top class' sire of sports ponies. Bugatti's dam, Bernwode Mandy is a 1993 German State Premium pony mare who is branded and approved by both the Weser Ems (Oldenburg) and SPSS Head Studbook (UK).  Mandy is by the notable German sire 'Apslau' whose offspring have won over 17.000 DM in prize money in affiliated competition. He has sired champions of stallion grading and the highest priced pony to be sold at the 1996 Dutch auction.
